The Energy Efficiency Council's flagship energy briefing engagement activities support Australian businesses with managing the risks and capturing of the opportunities of the energy transition. On Tuesday 20 October, the Energy Efficiency Council and viewers from across the country heard from leading manufacturers on what they're doing to successfully navigate Australia's dynamic energy landscape.

Holly Taylor
Senior Manager, Projects & Partnerships, Energy Efficiency Council

Holly is Senior Manager, Projects and Partnerships at the Energy Efficiency Council, Australia’s peak body for energy efficiency, energy management and demand response. Holly leads the Council's projects and partnerships work, facilitating engagement with members, partners and stakeholders, and connecting them with all aspects of the Council's programs. She focuses on strategic projects that build the market for energy management by driving ambitious government policy and supporting business decision making and growth. Holly has worked internationally with private and public sector clients that work on innovative solutions to tackle climate change. While in Europe, she worked with the UN and CDP. Most recently in the UK, Holly worked with a team that services English local authorities, facilitating the development and delivery of carbon management plans through the use of energy efficiency and renewable energy installation.

Tennant Reed

Head of Climate, Energy and Environment Policy, Ai Group

Tennant Reed is the Head of Climate, Energy and Environment Policy at Ai Group. He has worked heavily on climate and energy issues, advising Ai Group’s Leaders’ Group on Energy and Climate Policy and developing reports on natural gas supply, energy prices and energy efficiency.

He leads the Australian Climate Roundtable and also works on a range of issues related to manufacturing and innovation.  Previously he was an adviser in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, working on fiscal policy, stimulus and infrastructure. 

Anthony Cooper
Senior Manager Energy Efficiency, Business Australia

Anthony is the Senior Manager Energy Efficiency at Business Australia, where he manages the Business Energy Advice Program (BEAP). BEAP is an Australian Government-funded program that delivers free energy advice for small businesses across Australia.

Anthony is a highly accomplished and results driven senior sales and marketing manager, with substantial experience across Australia’s energy sector, including working at Jemena, Ecovantage and AGL

Warren Proctor

Engineering & Reliability Manager, Lion

Warren Proctor is the Engineering Reliability Manager at the Lion NSW Brewery. Warren has also led the Lion supply chain energy efficiency improvement group over the past two years, in which time he has set up an aligned practice and performance framework across Lion's supply chain.

Warren's background is in engineering, automation and computer science across multiple industries and more recently he completed an MBA at the University of NSW.

Brett Allan
General Manager, Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing, Molycop

Brett Allan has been working in the steel industry for 25 years, in various leadership roles across maintenance and production. Brett is currently the General Manager of Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing for Molycop Australia, meaning Brett negotiates all of Molycop’s supply contracts including those relating to energy. Brett is passionate about maintaining a manufacturing footprint in Australia for future generations and feels this can only be achieved by businesses being globally competitive and by having sustainable operations. Brett was directly involved in the PPA deal between Molycop and Flow Power.

Associate Director, Engevity and Director, Energy Efficiency Council

Liz Fletcher is Associate Director at Engevity, Co-founder the etc., and Marketing and Communications Expert on the Energy Efficiency Council Board.

At Engevity, Liz delivers projects that bring forward the new energy era. Prior to this she lead Marketing and Advocacy at Flow Power.
