Regional and Remote Communities Reliability Fund

The Regional and Remote Communities Reliability Fund (Fund) is an Australian Government program that will provide up to $50.4 million over 5 years from 2019-20 to 2023-24.

The Fund supports feasibility studies looking at microgrid technologies to replace, upgrade or supplement existing electricity supply arrangements in off-grid and fringe-of grid communities located in regional and remote areas.


Clean Energy Finance Corporation

The CEFC is an active financier to agribusiness and they work closely with the sector to identify where clean energy technologies can have substantial benefits for on-farm production and energy storage activities.


Agriculture Victoria Energy Investment Plan

The Agriculture Energy Investment Plan helps primary producers map energy efficiency opportunities and facilitate productivity boosting investment.

NSW Department of Primary Industries On-farm energy pilot projects

NSW DPI is currently implementing 7 pilot projects across 9 sites to demonstrate innovative technologies and practices to improve on-farm energy efficiency, energy security and productivity and to reduce on-farm energy use, costs and emissions. The pilots are being implemented at farms located across NSW in intensive sub-sectors including dairy, horticulture and feedlots.
